Paul is a happily married to his husband Aaron and father to his two beautiful children. Paul’s inspiration for his ventures stems from his own exclusion in the industry during the early days of his career.

With an extensive background working with all size corporations, Paul has meticulously cultivated talent and streamlined company structure, while consistently encouraging team members and growing revenue. His tenacity and innovative approaches continue to create better communication, culture and clarity in the teams he builds.

As a champion for diversity, equity and inclusion in the mortgage lending industry, Paul continues to use his resources to bridge the opportunity and education gaps in the mortgage lending industry.

Bianca Broos founded Bianca Broos Company, an elevated approach to Business Strategy, Brand Development, and Marketing Fulfillment, specializes in creating effective business & brand strategies for Mortgage Lending Executive Teams and Thought Leaders, New York Times Bestsellers and Fortune 500 Companies across a myriad of industries.

Bianca also currently serves as a Co-Founding Board Member & Executive Vice President for Axis Lending Academy, a 501c3 that works to educate and lift diverse talent into the Mortgage Lending Industry.

Brian Vieaux

Brian Vieaux's financial services experience includes strategy, business development, sales and marketing, compliance, quality control, and risk management.

He currently serves as the President & COO at FinLocker. FinLocker is a consumer-enabled financial data platform that gives lenders access to critical borrower information via a trusted 3rd party that can be used to streamline the origination and underwriting processes for mortgages and other financial products.

In building business channels in both large and medium-sized companies, Brian has gained significant experience in all phases of management, including sales production management, human resources, administration, operations, risk management, and training and development.

Brendon Weiss

Co-Founding Board Member, Secretary of Axis Lending Academy & Principal/Founder of Acta Strategies, LLC.

"Because Our Industry Needs Diversity."

Brendon Weiss is the Principal & Founder of Acta Strategies, the co-founder of several technology companies, and a Co-Foundering Board Member of Axis Lending Academy. The firm focuses on mortgage and capital markets technology, leveraging Brendon’s experience as a financial services executive and market technology leader across several financial services verticals including mortgage, capital markets, data, and trading.

In the early days of his career, Brendon focused on numerous endeavors centered around business development and internal and external operations. As COO at MERSCORP, Brendon oversaw a system migration from an external vendor to ICE data centers, restructured several functions and departments at MERSCORP, and led the launch of MERS’ first new products in over 10 years – including MERS® eNote Solutions, a product designed to increase the adoption of eNotes and digital mortgages.

Brendon is the co-founder of several early-stage companies and is a Co-founding Board Member of Axis Lending Academy. Brendon is passionate about helping others succeed professionally and personally and carries that passion into his vision and execution for AXIS.

Kevin Peranio

Board Member of Axis Lending Academy
& Chief Lending Officer at PRMG

"Because we can do better together."

Kevin is the Chief Lending Officer for PRMG and is responsible for overseeing all production, including working with operations teams within the loan manufacturing process. His primary goal is to enhance the overall customer experience when doing business with PRMG.

This includes creating robust reporting features to ensure accountability at all layers and levels of the process. Kevin is a Four-Time President’s Cabinet Member and was recognized by NMP as the Top 40 Under 40. Since joining PRMG in 2010, Kevin led the southeast Region to become the Ranked #1 Region for PRMG, reaching this milestone in record time.

SUE WOODARD

Board Member & Senior Advisor for Stratmor Group

"Because Education Leads to Empowerment."

Sue started her career at the ground level in financial services, became a top producing originator, then leveraged her knowledge to become a highly acclaimed industry speaker, subject matter expert and technology executive.  

Having held many executive and leadership positions throughout her career, Sue’s consulting specialties are in customer experience, employee experience, content strategy, and developing personal brand and presence via speaking, media and social media.

In addition to having hosted a successful financial radio program and making guest appearances on CNBC, Sue has been awarded numerous industry honors, including the NMP Most Powerful Women in Mortgage Banking and the Housing Wire Vanguard Award.

She also serves on the board of HOPE4Youth, a non-profit working to end youth homelessness, as well as on the board of Axis Lending Academy, an industry non-profit working to lift individuals into mortgage careers.

Jacob Gaffney

Board Member at AXIS &
and Principal/Co-Founder at Gaffney Austin

“Because Communication Generates Opportunity.”

Jacob Gaffney is the co-founder of housing finance media advisory firm Gaffney Austin. Formed in 2020 with CoreLogic communications director Alyson Austin, Gaffney Austin creates content solutions for earned media opportunities in podcasting, broadcasting and other multimedia channels.

Previously, as Editor-in-Chief of HousingWire, Gaffney led double-digit growth for more than a decade. Gaffney helped broker the acquisition of HousingWire by Riomar Capital in 2016. During his tenure, Gaffney oversaw editorial operations and was responsible for editorial strategy. Prior to that, he spent a decade abroad in London, holding editor positions for both Reuters and SourceMedia.

While at HousingWire, Jacob built and launched several short-term and long-term email campaigns. He helped rebrand the company twice and coordinated the website redesign 3 times. He didn’t stop there, in his last few years, he launched video and audio services to HousingWire's millions-strong audience and helped brand the editorial op-ed sections and further enhanced subscriber services. He is also a wine expert.
